Kristian Bush Bio/Wiki, Net Worth, Married 2018

He’s best known for being one half of the country music duet Sugarland. Bush is the great grandson of A.J. Bush, creator of Bush Brothers and Company; the family sold the business when Bush was a kid, although Kristian’s cousin, Jay Bush, continues as company spokesman. He was exposed to instruments via a very young age, and picked up his first violin at four years old. During these early years, Bush, alongside smaller brother Brandon, made his musical debut in the area Bush Legumes Jamboree performing as Parton’s opening act. Throughout youth, Bush was registered in violin lessons and classically trained underneath the Suzuki approach in the University of Tennessee. As a teen, Bush stuck using the guitar and started to make original music. It was not long before he was composing his own tunes and recording home made records. Then he attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, earning a diploma in Creative Writing. It was also in this time around at Emory that Bush started to associate with Atlanta’s growing music scene, frequently begging his way into nightclubs; seeing first-hand success from groups like R.E.M. and the Indigo Girls. Bush founded Sugarland in 2002, signed with Mercury Records Nashville in 2004, and burst onto the country music arena with vocalist Jennifer Nettles. Eventually signed to Mercury Nashville Records, Sugarland broke through in 2004 together with the launch of the debut single “Baby Girl”, the very first single from their multi-platinum debut album Twice the Speed of Life. The trio became a duet in 2006, when they also released their second record, Enjoy the Ride. This record made their first two No. 1 singles (in the U.S.), “Need To” and “Settlin'”, and won the duo a Grammy for “Remain”. In 2008 they released their third record, titled Love on the Inside. This record made three more No. 1 singles with “All I Need to Do”, “Already Gone”and “It Happens”. Their fourth record, The Incredible Machine premiered on October 19, 2010 in both a regular and deluxe version. Nettles and Bush also compose all the group’s tunes. In October of 2012, they were inducted in the Georgia Music Hall of Fame.

1[on his tattoo, which features the word "hope"] I just can't tell you how satisfied I am with it. I stare at it every day and think, 'Wow, that's cool.' I can imagine getting more. I'm thinking about another one on my arm, with a pen or a pencil at the end of the lyric so it looked like it was still being written.
2Strangely enough, I was never that connected to tattoo culture. I just couldn't get my head around a symbol or a piece of art that I thought was defining of me... Then, all of a sudden, I found that writing words on myself made sense. As soon as I saw tattoos as a way to tell your story, I thought, 'Oh my gosh, I totally get it.' So I got my first tattoo a couple of years ago, and it's the word 'hope' on my left arm. It has a couple of dots at the end for each of my kids.
