The vocalist is 5’10 and weighs 193 pounds. Keith Douglas Crier was produced on July 22, 1961 in Harlem, NYC. He earned his BS in Communications from City College of New York and worked his way as much as a rewarding place as a brokerage helper for the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Although Sweat had a great career, he nevertheless continued to indulge in his fire with music. Sweat sang at clubs throughout NYC, Connecticut, and New Jersey before being found. Sweat signed a recording contract with Elektra Records in 1987.
Keith Sweat is credited with being an innovator of New Jack Swing, which will be an infusion of R&B, funk, dance pop, and hip-hop music. Sweat won the American Music Award’s Favourite Man R&B/Soul Musician award in 1997. He also formed the music groups LSG, Silk, Kut Klose, and Ol’ Skool, which have had popular radio tunes.
