David Charvet (produced David Franck Guez Charvet; May 15, 1972) is a French singer, celebrity, model and television personality. Charvet produced in Lyon, France to Paul Guez and Christiane Charvet caught his big break in 1992 about the American television program Baywatch as Matt Brody. He was credited as David Charvet about the program, using his mom’s maiden name rather than his real family name. He stayed on Baywatch for three complete seasons, until 1995. Charvet also appeared as Craig Field on Melrose Place from 1996–98. Charvet left playing in 1999 to concentrate on his musical career. Following a musical career spanning around seven years, Charvet returned in 2006 to playing in a film directed by Roger Christian called Prisoners of the Sun that was just finished and released in 2013. He also appeared in the film Green Flash also called Beach Kings. After successful runs at Baywatch and Melrose Place in the 1990s, Charvet made a decision to go back to France with a 5-record signed contract with Universal Music Group France as a recording artist.
