She was scheduled to direct a further Doctor Who (1963) story, "The Ultimate Evil", written by Wally K. Daly, which would have been the second story of the 23rd Season that was planned for broadcast in early 1986. The story was cancelled before going into production when the BBC put Doctor Who (1963) on hiatus and it returned in September 1986 with a different set of stories.
