He’s a widower whose wife Myra perished in 2011. In 1967, he bought the Rand-Whitney Group, a packaging company located in Worcester, Massachusetts. Five years after, he founded a physical paper commodity business, International Forest Products. The latter firm continues among the best exporters/importers in America. He went to buy a Boston TV station and many radio stations. In 1994, Kraft bought the New England Patriots for $175 million, and has since developed property throughout the team’s arena. During his time as owner of the group, it is reached the Super Bowl six times, winning on four occasions. The team has sold out every game since Kraft bought the team, despite getting the second highest ticket prices in the NFL.
Through the time Kraft has owned the Patriots, the worth of the team has steadily improved, with the last approximation at $2.6 billion. Annual gains (also an approximation) are believed to be at over $100 million each year. Those positive amounts, coupled with all the continuing success of his other businesses, have put his entire net worth at over $4 billion.
