Robby Gordon Bio/Wiki, Net Worth, Married 2018
Robert W. “Robby” Gordon (born January 2, 1969) is an American racecar driver. He’s raced in NASCAR, CART, IndyCar, Trans Am, IMSA, IROC and Dakar Rally. In 1994 Gordon drove in a single race for Michael Kranefuss beginning and completing 38th at Michigan. In 1996 Gordon raced at Charlotte in what was among the primary beginnings ever for Dale Earnhardt Inc.. He also raced at Rockingham and Phoenix for Felix Sabates. Gordon’s first full-time ride came in 1997 with Felix Sabates’ Team SABCO. Gordon raced in 22 starts with SABCO, and seized the post at Atlanta. He also finished 4th at Watkins Glen, his only top-ten finish of the entire year. He returned to NASCAR fulltime in 2000, wanting to run his own team. Again, the results were disappointing; he neglected to qualify for a number of races and ended with just 2 top-tens in 17 starts. He was leading close to the conclusion of the race, but was passed by Tony Stewart for the win after allowing Stewart to catch up as a result of struggle to keep Kevin Harvick from obtaining a lap back. After in the exact same season, he joined Richard Childress Racing as a replacement for the injured Mike Skinner. (Jeff, who believed Robby had whirled him and had been running second in the time, rammed him during the warning flag and got a black flag, clinching the win for the other Gordon. The race, which had initially been scheduled for September, was postponed after 9/11, and after the occasion Gordon declared he’d give all his winnings to the casualties of the 9/11 strikes.)
