Ross Mathews (born September 24, 1979) is an American television personality who first rose to popularity along with his character as an intern, and afterwards, a correspondent, for “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”, that he was known as “Ross the Intern”. Mathews has since gone on to numerous following TV appearances, including “Celebrity Fit Club”, “The Insider” and as a weekly frequent panelist on “Chelsea Lately”.
Mathews started as an intern behind the scenes on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. From December 2001, he covered movie premieres, the Academy Awards, two distinct Winter Olympics Games as well as other occasions. He appeared on the fifth season of VH1’s reality television show, Celebrity Fit Club. Mathews was a guest host on The View (July 17, 2007), among the hardly any guys to sit down on the panel. Former co host Rosie O’Donnell is Mathews’ mentor, in accordance with the Celebrity Fit Club ending. In January 2011, Mathews starred in a pilot he also produced and co-composed alongside fellow Chelsea Lately roundtable routine Heather McDonald, titled Love or Loathe for the E! Network which was executive produced by Chelsea Handler and her business Borderline Amazing Productions. Mathews appears in the E! Network’s After Lately, a show concerning the behind the scenes of Chelsea Lately.
