James Daniel "Jimmy" Bridges Jr. (born September 15, 1960 in San Francisco, California) is an American actor. He is the son of Betty A. Bridges, an actress, and James Bridges Sr. and the brother of Todd Bridges of Diff'rent Strokes and Verda Bridges. His three daughters, Penny Bae Bridges, Brooke Marie Bridges, and Rachel Bridges are all actresses.
Played college football at Northwestern with Sherman Augustus. After Sherman graduated James transfered to New Mexico State where some former high school teammates were playing.
Auditioned for the role of Willie Mays Hayes in Major League (1989).

He and his brother, Todd Bridges, merged their production company, "Little Bridge Productions", with "DV Filmworks", a company owned by longtime friend, actor/producer Shashawnee Hall.

Played in the Victory Adult Baseball League Championship game at Dodger Stadium, November 5, 2004, along with his teammates, brother actor Todd Bridges, actor Tony Grande, actor/writer Thomas Brooks, DP Dave Fox, actor Mike Kasem (son of Casey Kasem) and director/actor Steve Race.
