She was an actress, known for Knights of the Round Table (1953), Daughter of Darkness (1948) and The Peterville Diamond (1943). She was married to James Hartley and Wallace Douglas. She died on October 17, 1956 in London, England.
At the time of her death, she was appearing in the play "The Spider's Web", at the Savoy Theatre, London. Co-stars attending her funeral included Margaret Lockwood, Patrick Barr, and Ronald Howard.
