Tyus Dwayne Edney (born February 14, 1973) is an American former professional basketball player. A point guard for UCLA from 1991–1995, Edney led the Bruins to the 1995 NCAA National Championship. He also led Žalgiris Kaunas to the 1999 Euroleague title. Edney is the director of basketball operations for the UCLA men's basketball team. Edney was listed at 1.78 m (5'10"), 88 kg (195 lbs). His game-winning shot for UCLA in the 2nd Round of the 1995 NCAA Men's Championship is considered to be one of the most famous plays in NCAA Tournament history.
Played professional basketball in the NBA for Sacramento Kings, Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers. Also played in Russia for CSKA Moscow team and other European teams.
