Edward Horace "Ed" Sampson (December 23, 1921 in Fort Frances, Ontario – August 26, 1974) was an ice hockey player who played for the American national team. He won a silver medal at the 1956 Winter Olympics.
According to a May 16, 1962 Variety article, Sampson, listed in the article as John Sampson, was fatally wounded while attempting to take a gun from his suicidal wife.
