Jack Vettriano OBE born Jack Hoggan (born 17 November 1951), is a Scottish painter. His 1992 painting, The Singing Butler, became a best selling image in Britain.
I like to look at a painting and see labor. I don't make a distinction between painting and illustration, and we shouldn't get hung up on arguing the difference.
