#Quote
1[About filming Deck the Halls (2006)] There is something very Canadian about shooting Japanese film stock in an Austrian camera with a German movement, French zooms and English primes with an Italian fluid head on top of an American dolly in a Canadian tent filled with paper snow made in England.
#Fact
1Was David Cronenberg's regular cinematographer until 1988, when he was unavailable to shoot Dead Ringers (1988) because he was already committed to The Blob (1988). Irwin has not worked with Cronenberg since then.
2Member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers (CSC) since 1970, and the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) since 1992.
