Moultrie Patten (June 10, 1919 – March 18, 2009) was an American actor and jazz musician. Patten was perhaps best known for his role as Walt the trapper on the American television series, Northern Exposure, which aired from 1990 until 1995. Patten appeared as Walt Kupfer from 1993 until the show's ending in 1995.
Appeared in many plays after World War II, in venues ranging from community theater to Broadway. Claimed that his favorite plays that he appeared in were "The Andersonville Trial," "The Hostage" and "Noises Off.".

Was also a jazz pianist and singer. Recorded a CD of his favorite jazz songs in 1997.

Awarded the Silver Star for heroism as a tank commander at the battle of Monte Cassino in 1944.
