Canadian actor and vocalist/announcer (with Carroll Gibbons and Ted Heath in the 1940's), star of the BBC Radio serial "Riders of the Range" (1949-1953) and leading man in British 1950's second feature melodramas and potboilers. He was also a former war correspondent and ice hockey champion.
