Patricia Franklin (born 1942, London, England) is an English actress. Her television credits include Black Books, The Bill, Silent Witness, The Sweeney and Play for Today.She has appeared in the films Carry On Camping, Carry On Loving, Carry On Girls, Carry On Behind, Carry On England and all three films in Edgar Wright's and Simon Pegg's Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy.She is married to the Australian dramatist Frank Hatherley and their daughter is the guitarist Charlotte Hatherley.
Her daughter was engaged to a member of the crew for Shaun of the Dead (2004) enabling her to get a part in the film. This led to subsequent appearances in Black Books (2000) and Hot Fuzz (2007).

Her long blonde hair and feminine looks enabled her to get a minor role in Carry on Camping (1969) and three subsequent Carry On films. However, despite her feminine looks, she had her hair cut short to play a woman liberator in Carry on Girls (1973).
