Joe Taruc (born Jose Malgapo Taruc, Jr.) is a news anchor currently worked at DZRH in the Philippines. He is one of the top-rating news anchors today on radio. Aside from being a news anchor, Taruc is also the Senior-Vice President of the station.Currently, he is news anchor of Balitang Bayan Numero Uno (5am edition with Rey Sibayan and 6am edition doing solo), as well as Damdaming Bayan, one of the longest-running public affairs program on the station. Taruc interviews with people in the politics, mostly the president. He also the pioneer of ABS-CBN DZXL Radyo Patrol (predecessor of DZMM) before the Martial Law regime.
