Paul H. Gebhard, born (1917-07-03) July 3, 1917 , is an American anthropologist and sexologist. Born in Rocky Ford, Colorado, he earned a B.S. and a Ph.D. from Harvard in 1940 and 1947, respectively. Between the years 1946 and 1956, Gebhard was a close colleague to sex researcher Alfred Kinsey. Following Kinsey's death in 1956, Gebhard as the second director of the Kinsey Institute and served in that capacity from 1956 to 1982. He co-authored the second of the two Kinsey Reports. He has also claimed that the statistical bias in the data had not materially affected the results of either of the two reports.
