Rachel Louise Grant de Longueuil, better known as Rachel Grant, is a Filipino-born British actress, TV host, writer, humanitarian and social entrepreneur. She also specializes in Filipino martial arts Kali; grandmaster Dan Inosanto was one of her teachers.Born on the island of Luzon in the Philippines, Grant was raised in Nottingham, England and attended drama school in London. She has since lived in Manila Philippines and Los Angeles, later moving to New York.Grant is of British, French-Canadian, Filipino and Spanish descent through her parents. Her full name is Rachel Louise Grant de Longueuil, a barony title granted by King Louis XIV of France to her direct ancestor Charles le Moyne de Longueuil for his travels and explorations throughout North America.
