Kenneth Kendall (7 August 1924 – 14 December 2012) was a British broadcaster. He worked for many years as a newsreader for the BBC, where he was a contemporary of fellow newsreaders Richard Baker and Robert Dougall. He is also remembered as the host of the Channel 4 game show Treasure Hunt, which ran between 1982 and 1989.
Was a former schoolmaster; his position was teaching French at a prep school but he found himself too impatient to stay with the job.

In 2013 it was announced that Mark Fear, Kendall's civil partner, had committed suicide four months after the star's death. They had been together for 23 years.

Joined the BBC in 1948. In September 1955 he became the first person to appear on British television reading the news (before that only the newsreader's voice was heard), a position he continued to hold until 1961 when he went freelance. In 1969 he returned to the BBC, staying until 1981.
