Bert Schneider was born on May 5, 1933 in New York City, New York, USA as Berton Jerome Schneider. He was a producer, known for Easy Rider (1969), The Last Picture Show (1971) and Days of Heaven (1978). He was married to Ariane Cecile Chambon, Judith Evelyn Feinberg and Greta Ronningen. He died on December 12, 2011 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
[on his film 'Hearts and Minds", which is highly critical of America's role in the Vietnam war] It shouldn't be considered a documentary. It should be considered a disaster epic, for that's what it surely is.
