Jordan Hoffman is an American freelance film critic and former actor, director and producer. He is best known for his work with New York Daily News, Film.com, Vanity Fair, ScreenCrush, and The Times of Israel. He is also a contributor to Badass Digest and Startrek.com. Previously he was the movies editor at UGO.com. He wrote, produced and appeared in films such as Ultrachrist! and Body/Antibody. He enjoys playing backgammon and the jam-rock music of Phish. His cartoonish Francophilia manifests itself in his ubiquitous wearing of a black beret.
Currently one of the winners in the IFC Film Festival Contest for the ultimate movie goer. He will be participating in the finals for another $5,000 very soon. [July 2004]
