Moon Moon Sen (also credited as Moonmoon Sen) (born 28 March 1948) is an Indian film actress, known for her works in Bengali, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi and Kannada films. She eventually starred in Bollywood films. She has appeared in 60 films and 40 Television series. She has received Andhra pradesh state Nandi Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1987, for her role in the film Sirivennela.
Her father is Dibanath Sen. Dibanath Sen was the son of one of the wealthiest business men of Calcutta, Adinath Sen. Her great grandfather is Dinanath Sen and was the Minister of the Maharaja of Tripura.

Studied in Loreto Convent in Darjeeling, then in a British school in England and after coming back she graduated from Loreto College in Calcutta.

Received her masters in Comparative Literature from Jadavpur University in Calcutta.

In an interview in 2000, she said she taught at Ballygunge Girls' School for a year and then taught graphics at Chitrabani, a school teaching film techniques. She also taught English at a well known Boys' school in Calcutta before joining films.

Sen is writing a cookbook in Bengali, which is yet to be published. Most recently, she has made occasional appearances in the Page three sections of Indian newspapers, usually at polo events or film-related events, and promoting new restaurants.

In 1978, Sen married Bharat Dev Varma, a descendant of the royal family belonging to the state of Tripura in India. They have two daughters, actresses Raima Sen and Riya Sen. She has high regard for her husband, for his consistent support of her professional acting career.

Her late mother-in-law, Ila Devi, was the princess of Cooch Behar, whose younger sister Gayatri Devi is the Maharani of Jaipur.

Has performed in over 20 languages, and has won awards like the Nandi State Award, the Kalakendra Screen Award and the Bharat Nirman Award.
