Terrie Waddell is a former Australian actress, best known for her role as Lisa Mullins in the television series Prisoner. She had replaced Nicki Paull, who had left the role due to an illness. Waddell remained with the series until its final episode in 1986.She subsequently moved away from acting to become a lecturer in media studies at La Trobe University.
Went on to become a Doctor, lecturing in media theory at La Trobe University, Victoria. Her research work focuses on carnival, grotesqueries, myth in popular culture, advertising, and the representation of women in contemporary media. She has also reviewed film for radio 3LO's mid-morning programme.
