He is a producer and actor, known for The Trouble with the Fifties (1992), The Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II (2012) and Come Dancing (1949). He has been married to Christabel Bagge since June 8, 1990. He was previously married to Polly Elwes.
His first marriage was to a woman named Pamela Brealy. He never referred to this marriage in his entry for "Who's Who" in any of the editions in which his name appeared. By the time of his death, few people were even aware of this marriage having existed.
