Michael James "Mike" Ness is an American guitarist, vocalist, and chief songwriter for the punk rock band Social Distortion, which was formed in 1978. Mike Ness' songs are represented by Downtown Music Publishing.
Finished recording "Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes", the first Social Distortion album since 2004. A November release date is expected. [August 2010]

After 2005's highly acclaimed "Sex, Love and Rock'N'Roll", and a nearly sold out World Tour, they are now working on their new Album, which should be released later this year or 2007.
