David L. Jones (commonly known as Dave Jones) is an Australian electronic engineer and video blogger.Jones started video blogging in 2009, and in 2011 he became the first full-time YouTube engineering blogger. His Electronic Engineering Video Blog (EEVBlog) features a variety of subjects relevant to electronic engineering, including technical tutorials, equipment reviews and teardowns, and commentary on topical issues. Test equipment manufacturer Extech indicated that Jones is "known for his candor, humor and unusual style" and "characteristically irreverent and off-the-cuff". In January 2013, technology blog jhack.co.uk placed the EEVBlog at number one in a list of electrical engineering channels on YouTube.
