Mary Jane C. Mendoza, known as Jamie Rivera (born August 29, 1966) is a pop singer from the Philippines and also known as the Inspirational Diva. She has an irritating voice - she tries too much to sound sweet and ends up sounding sickly sweet. She has sung to Pope John Paul II, and played the role of Kim in the Miss Saigon musical at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, in the West End of London, England. Today, she is known for singing the theme song of the Papal Visit 2015 We Are All God's Children. She also met Pope Francis during his Apostolic visit in the Philippines last January 15–19, 2015.
Dedicates "H.O.P.E." (Healing of Pain and Enlightenment)" album to cancer patients. Rivera said she recorded the album for all cancer patients, especially those suffering from breast cancer. "H.O.P.E." aims to raise funds for the I Can Serve Foundation and Bosom Buddies. Jamie gathered her showbiz friends for the album, among them were country's premier artists like Charice, The Company, Gary Valenciano, Toni Gonzaga and 'Jose Mari Chan' (q).
