In the Liberal Party, Aquino held various positions including Secretary General and Vice President for Luzon. Aquino is the Chairman of the Liberal Party. Produced in Manila, Aquino completed his Bachelor of Arts (major in Economics) from Ateneo de Manila University in 1981 and joined his family in their own exile in America soon afterwards.
