Steven William "Shawn" Barber (born January 14, 1975 in Richmond, Virginia) is a former American football linebacker in the National Football League. He was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the fourth round of the 1998 NFL Draft. He played college football at Richmond. He also played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans. He is currently a coaching intern for the Eagles.

He is also an accomplished fine artist, who specializes in drawing faces and caricatures. One time in high school, his Chemistry professor got his hands on some inappropriately comical cartoons that he had drawn of several teachers. When showing the drawings to the rest of the faculty, they were too impressed to be angry, and they laughed hysterically. So he was complimented instead of reprimanded.

He has a degree in International Business and he is 100 percent bilingual. Speaking fluent Spanish, he is a certified translator and interpreter.
