Mickey Avalon (produced Yeshe Perl; December 3, 1975) is an American rapper from Hollywood, California. Regular issues of Avalon’s tunes are his encounters with substance abuse and prostitution. The group comprised: Mickey Avalon, Simon “Dirt Nasty” Rex, Andre Legacy, and Beardo as the four members. Andre Legacy was Avalon’s friend since elementary school and Beardo was Avalon’s buddy from their work collectively in the modeling business. In 2004, the Dyslexic Speedreaders released their very first record which was entitled Catching As Much As Wilt. In 2007, the Dyslexic Speedreaders collaborated with all the Living Legends and Luckiam to the tune, “Nevermind.” In 2009, Mickey Avalon released “What Can You Say” which was also portion of The Hangover soundtrack and featured Dirt Nasty and Andre Legacy. Nevertheless, Avalon declared through his Myspace webpage this will be the final tune the Dyslexic Speedreaders would release. After years of friendship and musical cooperation, the group disbanded after Mickey had a dispute with all the other members over outstanding loans. On November 7, 2010, Avalon declared on theFIVE10 Radio he was leaving his label and that his relationship with Dirt Nasty and Andre Legacy had been extended because of money problems. He said that there is still room for reconciliation by saying, “No one slept with anyone’s girl.” During his July 31, 2011 interview on Stefanie’s Rock Show, Avalon said that he briefly reunited with all the Dyslexic Speedreaders for an unplanned one-time performance. Throughout the span of the show, Avalon accepted an invitation to perform on stage along with his former bandmates. He explained he’s open to the chance for future reunions.
