Ed Lover Bio/Wiki, Net Worth, Married 2018

James Roberts (created February 12, 1963, in Hollis, Queens, New York), better known as Ed Lover, is a rapper, celebrity, musician, radio personality, and former MTV VJ. Now hosts “The Ed Lover Show” on SiriusXM’s Old Skool rap station BackSpin.

Before achieving recognition on MTV, Ed Lover was part of an eccentric and purposefully enigmatic hip hop collective called No Face, mostly with fellow members Kevon Shah and Mark “Mark Sexx” Skeete, who served as the primary company. No Face would continue recording for another five years, but it just released one record in 1990, Wake Your Daughter Up on its own No Face label, that has been managed as an imprint of the Rush Associated Labels section of Def Jam Recordings. Though Ed Lover was definitely identifiable throughout areas of the record, his name had not been credited on the record and he had not been featured on any album or single covers in this interval—thereby representing Ed Lover the No Face part of the group. Its primary symbol featured two heads using the word “face” composed in graffiti-style’ in the base of the right face, while the official label symbol featured three heads using the word “face” in a more legible font. Ed Lover is featured in the video for “Half,” which often aired on Yo! MTV Raps during his tenure as cohost.
