Donnie Brooks (February 6, 1936 – February 23, 2007), born John Dee Abohosh, was an American pop music singer. Brooks is a member of the Rockabilly Hall of Fame.

Donnie performed daily at the "First King" club in Gardena, California, back in the 1960's.

In 1971 he achieved a moderate amount of fame and success in the lead role as Jesus Christ in the classic Rock Opera Truth Of Truths (Oak Records, 1971), a 2-LP set soundtrack album from the live stage musical extravaganza based on the Bible. He performed some outstanding vocals for this production, most notably "He's The Light of the World" and "I Am What I Say I Am".
