Mitchell met Poe Boy Entertainment creator Eclass in 1997. EClass supported him to express his life adversities through rap. Mitchell signed to Poe Boy several years after and received his first payment from his mom’s life insurance check in 2001. Nevertheless, he spent all $400,000 in six months. Lil Wayne signed Brisco to Cash Money Records in November that year. Brisco started recording an album for Poe Boy and Cash Money, Street Medicine, in 2007 which resulted in popular records like “I am Into Dat” and “Opalocka”. He also made his major debut with Cash Money on Lil’ Wayne’s mixtape Da Drought 3 on a tune called New Cash Money. The lead single in the record is entitled “On the Wall” featuring Lil Wayne. Brisco has finished a promotional tour with this tune. Street Medicine now has a provisional release date of December 2010. Brisco is not any stranger to controversy having had quarrelsome disagreement with rapper, Yung Berg. He also released a “diss” record directed at rappers Gucci Mane, OJ Da Juiceman and Waka Flocka Flame called “Waka Blacka”. This tune surfaced soon after Waka got shot on a Tuesday in Atlanta. He says that he just released this after Gucci Mane dissed him on his tune “Heavy”, referencing an event. The entertainers have since put their differences behind them
