Lester Don Holt, Jr. is an American news journalist who anchors the Weekend editions of NBC's Today, and NBC Nightly News. He is also the anchor for Dateline NBC.

His son, Stefan Holt, anchors the morning news in Chicago, where Lester used to be an anchor. On November 23, 2012, when visiting his son for Thanksgiving, Lester co-anchored the NBC morning news in Chicago with his son.
