Dan Schneider (born January 14, 1966) is an American songwriter, performer, screenwriter, and producer of movies and television. After appearing in mainly supporting roles in several 1980s and 1990s movies and TV shows, Schneider committed himself to behind the scenes work in creation. He could be the co-president of television production business Schneider’s Bakery.
In the 1980s, Schneider co starred in a number of movies including Making the Grade and Better Off Dead. Schneider also costarred in the movies The Big Picture, Happy Together and Hot Resort (1985). In 1986, Schneider played Dennis Blunden to the ABC television sitcom Head of the Class. The show ran for five seasons from 1986 to 1991. Schneider is well-known for making cameo appearances in TV series he has helped to create/make. Schneider also adds his voice to be utilized as a voice over in a lot of his endeavors. Schneider’s career changed directions in 1993 when he started composing and creating a chain of highly successful television shows.
