Warren W. Littlefield (created 11 May 1952 in Montclair, New Jersey) is a former US television executive. Littlefield graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, Ny, and was granted a BA in Psychology. In the year 2012, he composed a novel, with T. R. Pearson, about his time at NBC entitled Top of the Stone: Inside the Rise and Fall of Must See TV. He was impersonated by Bob Balaban in The Late Shift. Balaban had formerly played Russell Dalrymple, a character based on Littlefield, during the fourth season of Seinfeld. (Balaban additionally is the narrator of the audiobook version of Littlefield’s autobiography.) It’s possible for him to be viewed sitting in the bar throughout the series finale of Cheers. He also appeared in a episode of Blossom. In 2004, Littlefield appeared in a episode of A&E’s Biography that looked back on the show Cheers.
