Mark Howard Gorton (created November 7, 1966) is the originator of LimeWire, a peer to peer file sharing client for the Java Platform, and chief executive of the Lime Group. Lime Group, based in Nyc, possesses LimeWire along with Lime Brokerage LLC (a stock brokerage), Tower Research Capital LLC (a hedge fund), and LimeMedical LLC (a medical software firm). Gorton is a crucial figure in “Arista Records LLC v. Lime Group LLC”. Gorton is involved in various eco-friendly lifestyle problems particularly those having to do with transport.
