Ricky Donnell Ross (created 3 May, 1960), also called Highway Rick Ross, is an American writer and convicted drug trafficker best known for the substance empire he presided over in La, California, in the early to mid 1980s.
Ross attended high school at Susan Miller Dorsey High School in La. He played for the tennis team but was not able to get a college scholarship because he was illiterate. Ross has said that when he first saw crack cocaine as a teen in 1979, he failed to instantly consider it was a substance since it seemed different from several other substances he’d seen.
