Frank Lowy, AC (created 22 October 1930) is an Australian businessman. He’s a cofounder of the Westfield Group, operator of over 100 shopping centres in Australia, New Zealand, America as well as Great Britain. In 1952, Lowy left Israel and joined his family, who’d left Europe for Australia and began a company delivering modest goods. The pair became business associates, eventually creating Westfield Development Corporation through the creation of a shopping center at Blacktown in Sydney’s western suburbs.
