Anthony Scaramucci (created January 6, 1964) is an American financier, entrepreneur and writer. He’s the creator as well as a co-managing partner of investment firm SkyBridge Capital. In 1996, Scaramucci left Goldman to establish Oscar Capital Management along with his co-worker Andrew Boszhardt. InvestHedge rated SkyBridge’s Multi-Advisor Hedge Fund Portfolio and its own Legion Strategies the top performing multi-strategy fund of hedge funds worldwide for 2012. SkyBridge is the host of the SkyBridge Options “SALT” Seminar, that was established in 2009 and is held in Las Vegas every springtime. In October 2012, SkyBridge enlarged the convention worldwide and held the initiative SALT Asia in the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Scaramucci is the composer of Goodbye Gordon Gekko: How to Locate Your Bundle Without Losing Your Spirit (Wiley: May 2010) and The Little Book of Hedge Funds: What You Should Learn About Hedge Funds but the Supervisors Will Not Tell You (Wiley: May 2012). Called an “ambassador-at large for the hedge fund business,” Scaramucci is a regular commentator and speaker. He’s an associate of the World Economic Forum and speaks in the annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland. He’s a frequent contributor to CNBC. On May 15, 2014, SkyBridge declared it had obtained rights to the iconic TV show “Wall Street Week.” As reported in the New York Post, the show is going to be an expansion of SkyBridge’s yearly SALT Conference.
