Donald Alan "Don" Brinkley (March 9, 1921 – July 14, 2012) was an award winning television writer, director and producer. He wrote for countless television shows in a career that spanned over 55 years.Don Brinkley had two biological children by his first wife Lois; Jeff and Kim Brinkley. He divorced upon meeting Marge Hudson, mother two children: Her daughter, future supermodel Christie Brinkley (formerly Christie Lee Hudson) and; Her Son, the Future Author of Samadhi Game Manifesto of Insight and Awareness, Teacher of Yoga, Meditation, Healing Massage and a Nutritionist Gregory Herbert Hudson (Now Gregory Donald Brinkley). Shortly after Don and Marge married, Don legally adopted Christie Lee and her brother Gregory Herbert Hudson.Brinkley had six grandchildren, including musician Alexa Ray Joel, and one great-grandson.
