Danny Baker (born 22 June 1957 in Deptford, South London) is an English comedy writer, journalist, radio DJ and screenwriter. Since the late 1970s, he has worked for a wide range of publications and broadcasters including NME, LWT, the BBC and Talk Radio.

[on Queen] A dreadful group. They were neither Led Zeppelin nor Bowie (David Bowie) and they played that middle ground in between. Punk rock didn't come around because of prog rock or anything like that, it came around because of Queen.
