(1963) and Rex Milligan (1956). He was married to Eileen Selby and Sylvia Brown. He died on June 28, 2004 in Lewes, East Sussex, England.
He was awarded the O.B.E. (Officer of the Order of the the British Empire) in the 2003 Queen's New Year's Eve Honours List for his services to literature.
