Robert Perry “Bob” Golic (created October 26, 1957) is a former American college and professional football player who had been a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for fourteen seasons during the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. Golic played college football for the University of Notre Dame, and was recognized as an All American. He played professionally for the New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns, and Los Angeles Raiders of the NFL. Since retiring as a football player, he’s been employed as a television performer, radio personality and sports commentator. He’s also a football analyst for WOIO Channel 19 in Cleveland (CBS). Golic has additionally started a restaurant and pub in downtown Cleveland’s Warehouse District (Bob Golic’s Sports Bar & Grille). The restaurant closed in June, 2014. Golic is now the Vice President of Football Operations for the Lingerie Football League expansion team, the Cleveland Crush.
