Robert Michael Iler (created March 2, 1985) is an American celebrity, known for his portrayal of A.J. Soprano on “The Sopranos” which aired on HBO from 1999-2007. Robert Iler is of Irish ancestry. By mid-1997, he was appearing in commercials for Pizza Hut, and attending 3 or 4 auditions weekly. He’d also appeared on Saturday Night Live and in some movie parts, but nothing that brought him great acknowledgement. By May 2001, he’d started home schooling because of his instruction. In July 2001, Iler was detained for the armed robbery of two Brazilian tourists as well as for possession of cannabis. He pled guilty to one charge of larceny and received three years’ probation.
