John Hare was born on May 16, 1844 in Giggleswick, Yorkshire, England as John Fairs. He was an actor, known for A Pair of Spectacles (1916), Masks and Faces (1917) and The Vicar of Wakefield (1916). He died on December 28, 1921 in London, England.
He was awarded Knight Bachelor of the Order of the British Empire in the 1907 King's Honours List for his services to drama.
