Mandala Tayde was born in 1975 to a German mother and an Indian father in Frankfurt am Main. She grew up there and finished high school, though she spent most of her time with horses and books. She has appeared completely full nude in Black & White in German Playboy (none of the other country editions) 1998 December edition. But got less popularized due to the popularity of Katharina Witt photos in the same magazine and also Tayde never claimed the playboy pictorials of her.
