Dana Valery Catalano (born Fausta Dana Galli in Codogno, Italy) is a singer, actress, and television performer who started her career in the entertainment industry at the age of 16 in Johannesburg, South Africa where her family emigrated from Italy in 1947. She has performed on television, radio, Broadway and in live concert performances worldwide, including major cities such as New York, London, Monte Carlo, Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Johannesburg. She is the sister of the late singer and actor Sergio Franchi.
While her brother, Sergio Franchi, did the Volare commercials, Dana made a singing commercial in 1976 for Dr. Pepper.

Dana's second husband, Peter Catalano, was trained as a musician at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music. He was a graduate of the Pratt Institute, and was a successful architect in the 1970s and 1980s.

Collaborating with Denise Rich, Dana and Peter Catalano wrote a 12 CD collection of Zodiac Meditation Music in 1999.

Dana and Peter Catalano purchased and re-developed a historic property in Westerly, which continues as a popular resort venue.
