Michael Leonard Battle (born July 9, 1946 in South Gate, California) is a former American football player in the American Football League (AFL). and the National Football League (NFL). A safety, he played college football at the University of Southern California, and played professionally for the AFL's New York Jets in 1969, and for the Jets of the NFL in 1970.He appeared in the movie C.C. and Company (1970), which starred Joe Namath, then starting quarterback of the New York Jets.
